The original house was an orchard that supplied the entire village of Selva with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. In addition, the building that houses the hotel was an oil mill in which olive oil was produced. The current dining room preserves the original stones of the mill.
In 2010, after a refurbishment process that lasted several years, S'Hort de Cas Missèr reopens its doors reconverted in a boutique hotel Agroturismo. Thus begins a new period in the history of S'Hort de Cas Missèr, focused now on approaching and transmitting the essence of Mallorca to a client who is passionate about tradition.
With the aim of maintaining the essence and the history of the house, during the 1990s the work of conservation of the farm and the first steps of the reconversion project in Agrotourism began.
